PSA ABOUT USAGE OF DISPOSABLE FACE MASKS
Hello everyone!
Today I will present to you my last task of his semester. The last and by far the most amusing one. Our teacher Gokce assigned us a new homework which was about digital storytelling. She gave us 3 different categories to pick: PSA (Public Service Announcement), how-to projects, and creating a fictional story with drawings and audio. These 3 options were hard to choose as each of them is pretty fun. As we were supposed to work as a group, before deciding which option to choose, we chose our teammates. In my group, we were 3 people: Asude, Beyza and me. We wanted to go with creating a PSA and we thought that it would be better if we talk about a current issue that concerns all the people around the world. Thus, we determined that we should go with something related to Corona Virus. I know it is sad but Covid 19 is all we talk about, all our agenda. So, our topic was almost clear. All we had to do was to add a little bit of spice to make it more specific. It was my teammate Beyza's idea to titled it the usage of disposable masks and their effects on our environment. After deciding what to do with our topic, it was almost done for us because we handled the most difficult part.
After that, we prepared our script as it was needed, of course, audio. We wrote what we wanted to say to the world about the issue at hand. As we were supposed to create our PSA for around a minute, it was not obligatory to write for pages. So, we handled this part very quickly and then we recorded our voices while reading our scripts. In this part, I had difficulties with recording it, but after many tries, I believe that I got that :p
The last thing -before creating the video- we had to do was to collect our visual stuff and it was also fun. We tried to pick up visuals following our topic. hope we managed it.
And finally the very last step...Creating the video using all the items we had. In this part, I used a program's trial version. I had so much fun editing the video and I realized that editing was not as difficult as I used to think. It was really fun, so it didn't make me feel that way. We tried so hard to make our last homework complete in a most perfect way and put a lot of effort into it. So I wish you guys like it as much as I do. I'll add it below for you to watch and give feedback about it.
I enjoyed using a blog for almost 4 months. I enjoyed every part of it. Never felt bored or tired sharing my work with you. There's a high possibility that I'm talking to myself here but that's okay :D I'm so glad that our teacher for this class is Gokce Kurt. Thank you so much. Hope we'll meet again. Till then, take care. Lots of love.

AN INFOGRAPHIC ABOUT ONLINE EDUCATION IN TURKEY
Hello everyone! What up?
This week, I want to talk about the concept of infographics and show you the one that I created. I don't know if you are familiar with the topic but infographics are the combinations of information and graphic as the name implies. They are used for present information quickly. Because of their intended use, they are rich in visuals that help people understand the issue more easily. They can be used in many fields in order to fasten the way of learning. Especially in language learning, I think both teachers and students can take advantage of infographics because usage of them in the process of learning is way funnier than reading long texts about the topic we are supposed to know. That's my point about them and that would be great to know about yours :)
I'm ending this week's post with the infographic that I created about online education in Turkey during the pandemic and I also mentioned about some tips to promote the level of effectivity in classes. I'll leave it below for you to check. I'd be super happy if you give feedbacks about it...Please do... See you next week!

CREATING AN ONLINE POSTER
Hello everyone! Missed me?
This week, I'll share an online poster I created for my Educational Technologies class. It was a really funny task for me. I know I say this a lot but these are the facts guys, I have had so much fun in every task I had until now. Thanks again to my dear teacher Gokce for finding and giving creative tasks to us <3
Now, let's talk about this week's assignment. We had a right to choose between two categories: a movie poster based on a book you read or a magazine cover. I chose the second one because weeks ago we had an assignment about a book we read. So, I didn't want to choose the first one.
First of all, I decided the name of my magazine. I named it "APEX" because I want it to be short and catchy word so that people would easily recognize it. (I know it's just an assignment, I just like thinking in every aspect.) After deciding the title, I chose a background picture. It was the part I loved the most in this entire task and it was not difficult for me to decide what to select for the background because it was all clear in my mind that I would put one of the Kate Moss photos to the background as she is my favorite model. She is an icon living.
Completing basic stuff,I add a few titles for my audience to find it attractive. Finally, I fixed the fontsand colours schemes. So, here it is! Hope you all like it. See you next week with a new topic. Take care!
CLEAN WATER IN ISTANBUL
Hello everyone!
I'm back at it again with a Padlet page that me and my friends created. I had lots of fun creating this page below because it was a group work and I'm really fond of works like that. It helped us to listen and comment on other people's ideas. As we were working as a group, the task became a lot easier and we completed it in a very short time. First, each of us created a Padlet page and then we took a vote to choose the best page. Our friend Aslı's page was chosen and we kept on working on her page. Our topic is actually a current problem Islanbul dealing: Clean Water. We wrote the things we know about the issue and then searched for answers we wanted to know. Finally, we end up creating an informative page that deals with a current problem which means everyone should be aware of it and act as in the way they supposed to. I add our page link below for you guys to check it. Please let me know about your feedbacks. Hope you all like it. See you next week!

A BOOK REVIEW BY ME
Hello everyone! I'm back again with a wiki page that i created for a book review. I had really enjoyed the process of creating a page full of information and my own thoughts about the book reviewed. Thanks to our teacher Gökçe, every week, we discover new ways to get closer to the technology. We learn and at the same time we improve in terms of a lot. As i learn, i share them with you and thus, we are creating a non-stop information flow. So, i really am glad to be part of this. Hope you enjoy as much as i do.
Check the link below to see my wiki page and please share your thoughts with me. See you next week. Take care💓

Hello everyone!
I have just uploaded my podcast which is a short story about a mountain troll. It's actually the first time i have ever tried recording a podcast. That's why it didn't end up super great but that was the best i could do. I literally tried recording it a thousand times. As i did not really know how to use sound programmes, after i tried and failed couple of times, i used my own stupid way to record it. I was actually on the verge of punching myself. Still, i enjoyed the process. It was one of the most amusing assignments i have ever had. It helped me to think. It's a practice that i've been alienated from for a long time.
To be honest, i didn't sweat in the part of choosing one of the options but after i chose the option about creating a sound rich story, i really tried hard to find some topic that is remarkable. I failed at this part too but that's okay.Actually, my topic came to my mind out of the blue. I was like "yeah i should definitely write something about a damn ugly mountain troll!" So, here it is x) I really want you guys to like it so please let me know if you do. See you next week!

21ST CENTURY LEARNING
It's a fact that change is inevitable and we are trying to keep up with this continually changing+developing world in all matters. Just like everything, learning has changed over time and continues to change.
There are many features that the learning system of the 21st century expects from both students and teachers. You can find many of these features in the word cloud i prepared below.
In addition to features 21st century expects from us, there are also many conveniences it provides to us.Online classes, e-books, websites and mobile devices can be counted as our century's facilities. I think the best part of the 21st century learning is the fact that it's global. Through the internet, any person can share what s/he knows about a random thing and in the same way s/he can receive any info shared. How lucky we are!
You've just read this week's arcticle. Hope you like it. See you soon!
WELCOME!
Hello everyone! Welcome to my blog. From now on, i'm gonna share lots of contents about language learning and educational technology here. Every week, you'll read something new. Hope you'll like it. See you soon. Take care!
